About Us

Maranatha Ministries is an oasis of love and fellowship, a Word Centered church where believers of diverse backgrounds come together to live Christ-centered lives and glorify God. Under the experienced leadership of our Pastor and Founder, Samuel M. Earl, Maranatha is committed to ReBuilding Families and Changing Lives through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 1997, Maranatha began as a fellowship with weekly meetings. On December 2, 2000 Maranatha held its first Worship Service as a church in the newly acquired, fully furnished 6800 sq ft church building with a 3 bedroom parsonage on 2 acres of ground. Maranatha made great efforts to reach out to the surrounding community through activity based fellowships and luncheons on the church grounds.

In April 2008, Maranatha purchased its current location, a 32,000 sq ft school building. Maranatha has renovated Phase I of the Ministry Campus, which includes a Sanctuary, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Executive Office Building.

Phase II involves renovating the two-story building which will house Community Based programs for Families, Seniors, Youth, and the disenfranchised of our community.

In February 2013, the Lord impressed upon Pastor Earl that he and the Maranatha Family should take the Gospel message to the Melbourne, FL area. The Lord assured Pastor Earl that a multi-cultural church would be established. In obedience to this Divine instruction, Pastor & Lady Earl began holding services at the Candlewood Suites Hotel, 2930 Pineda Causeway, Viera, FL 32940.

Maranatha St. Louis currently holds a weekly Worship Service on Sundays at 10:30 am (CST) and a weekly Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, as well as quarterly fellowships for Married Couples, Men, Singles, and Women Fellowships. Maranatha Melbourne holds weekly worship service on Sundays at 10:30 AM (EST).
